Utagawa Kunisada was an ukiyo-e artist of the Edo period, known especially for his bijin-ga (pictures of beautiful women) and portraits of kabuki actors.
A work depicting the actor the third generation Iwai Kumesaburō (Iwai Kumesaburō) (In February of Bunkyū 4 (1864), he succeeded the name of the second generation Iwai Shijaku at Nakamuraza).
