The work is created by stretching paper onto a wooden panel and using acrylic paint.
Recently, there has also been an increase in illustrations roughly drawn with black pen.
We value the humor in the shapes, colors, and expressions of animals and people, and are conscious of bringing out a smile.
I usually create small works or cut-outs that look like illustrations, so I try to create new expressions to see how I can create an entire room using a large medium, such as an entire wall.
In 2014, he was selected for the 26th and 27th Mitsubishi Corporation Art Gate Programs.
The water soaked paper is first applied on a wooden plank, then the picture is drawn with acrylic paints.
Recently he uses a black pen to draw rough images.
Animals, human silhouettes and facial expressions are depicted with great humour, creating laughter for the viewer.
His usual work is made of small objects and cutout images.
Because of this, it's quite a challenge to switch to larger media.
The question is whether it is possible to adjust to a whole room.
